The TFIIIB complex directs Pol III toward to the transcriptional start site of the ribosomal 5S rRNA, tRNA and other small RNAs genes. The TFIIIB complex is then recruited to DNA sites upstream of the transcriptional start site by the TFIIIC complex []. This entry represents Bdp1 from fungi.
